First KiwiSport Reflection For Term 3 2018 (Boxing)

WALT:Reflect On What We Did At Kiwisport

Hey guys so today we had kiwisport for the first time this term and we did boxing so the first thing we did was line up outside the classroom and then we walked down to the hall we we got there we went and sat down on the ground and then we meet our boxing coach her name Pat she was telling a little bit of herself and then we got into it.

But first Pat when over the 3 commandments of boxing in school so the first one was respect I will have respect for myself, my coach, my peers and the sport of boxing the second one was discipline 

I will have discipline to turn up to every boxing sessions and give my 100% and the third and last one was safety I will not cause harm to others and only practicing boxing in a safe environment under the guidance of a coach.

After we all went threw the commandments we got on our boxing gloves on and then played a game called knee tag when you are trying to hit there knee and if you get they do one burpee and you keep on doin it until you stop after that we got into 2 line one line at the back and the other line at the front I was front and we were learning 2 punching skills a jab and cross so for the jab is when you bend down a bit and hitting with your right hand and the cross is when you bending a bit but standing on your side and twisting your leg a bit and then you punch.

So we did that and then we had to find a buddy and we had to practice out jab and cross and one of us at hold up our boxing gloves and they pushing out boxing gloves and practicing out jab, cross and combo when you do the jab and cross together and then we switched and the person that did not punch then they punch it was really fun to do after we did all of that we took off our boxing gloves and then went around the circle and gave everyone a hi-five and then we all lined up said thank you to Pat and then we walked back up to class.

I felt great after that because it was fun doing boxing and also learning some boxing skills and just having a great time doing boxing

What I found challenging:I found it easy because jabbing and crossing was pretty easy to and it was also pretty fun too.

What I enjoyed:I enjoyed playing knee tag because it was always getting them in the knee and sometimes they would get me to but we had fun and work as a team.

What can I do better:I can work on my combo because when I do for too long I start to lose focus and also getting tired so I need to work on my combo and focus for a long time.

The cause of a Bushfire is by lighting, volcanic eruptions and sparks from rocks falls.

• Some people lose their lives.

Maths Games Reflection 2

WALT:Reflect On What We Did For Maths

Hey guys so today we played maths games again but this we all changed groups so today I was with Star, Constance and Amon was still in my group.

 so the first game we played was the same card game that we did yesterday but this time we did times tables and if you did not know how to play check out the reflection from yesterday and it will explain how to play.

After we played that game we played another game with the dice when one person rolls 2 dice and it is a time tables question and we try to solve it and if we say the answer first then he or she gets a point and the person that wins the first round gets to roll the dice in the next round it was fun to play and really funny too.

Then we played our last game with the place value cards when we to add up the numbers to one big number and the we try to figure out which is thousands, tens & ones and that is how the game works.

I felt great after that because it as good playing maths games again and I also learn a lot from the games that we did on maths.

My next step is to the answers more faster because I am saying it so slow and I am also thinking slow no next time I just need to think and say the answer more faster.

I found it hard for the dice game to do because I could not count the little dots in the dice and also the times tables question was really hard but the card game was easy because I knew right away when he said the answer.

I enjoyed playing the maths games because it was fun to play and it was also funny at the same at time and just having a great playing the maths games and learning something from it.

Maths Games Reflection

WALT:Reflect On Maths Games

Hey guys so today we were in groups of 4 to play some maths games to get more good at maths and I was with Toma, Amon & Kensington the first game that we played was with the decimals fraction cards and the first person to go says I have 1/2 who has 2/5 and who ever has the card says the same thing and keep on going until we run out cards.

After we played that game Mrs. Komor told Kensington to switch with Timeus so Kensington can to Timeus's group and Timeus came to our group and then we played a game with the playing cards when 3 of us has a card on our forehead and one of them has to say plus all that numbers that we have and then he says the answer and we are trying to figure out the number and how he plus all of it.

I felt great after that because I really enjoyed playing maths games with my friends and getting more better on my maths.

My next steps is to work out more of the maths problem in my head because I am not a really good thinker when it comes to maths in plus I can solve the fraction and card on my mind (Beside Addition & Time Tables) so that is what I have to do next time I do something like this.

I found it hard and easy because the fraction game was easy to do but some of it was also hard because I could not tell which fraction and also the playing card it was easy and hard to do because I also could not tell what number was on my forehead.

I enjoyed just playing the maths game with my friends because it was really fun and funny to play with them and we also all learn something from the maths games so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep.

My First Blog For Term 3 2018 (Holiday Reflection)

Hey guys so this the first blog post for this term and I am going to write down about my favourite thing that I did on the holiday so it was thursday night and my 3 cousins came to sleepover and my sister bring some food to eat so we could all watch a movie and the movie that we all watched was the warriors.

The movie was based on a novel about a gang called the warriors and they were farmed for shooting the leader of the biggest gang of all the riffes and he was Cyrus so they go and find the people that actually shot Cyrus and it is a movie it came in 1979.

After we watched the movie we stayed up and played on our netbooks and played a game called flip diving until 2:00 I felt tired so I went upstairs and watched some videos on youtube and then fell asleep but my cousin was still awake.

The next day I woke up and it was my grandpa birthday so my mum had to bake the pineapple pie and I wake up to look after the kids with my sister when my is baking with my 2 auntys because there kids came over so when they did my sister went to go get some takeaways for us to eat and while she we were all watching the scary movie IT.

The movie IT is also based on a novel and it is about a clown named pennywise that lives in the sewers  and a boy named georgie go outside on a rainy day playing with his paper boat and pennywise gets the boat and they play around until pennywise grabs his hand and takes him in the sewers and later his brother and his friends go looked for him the original movie came out in 1991 and the new version came in 2017.

After we watched IT my sister came back with the takeaways and we ate later that day it was time to go to my grandpa's house for his birthday he turned 82 on friday so went there and was watching T.V.

And then my aunty called us to have some fish and chips and we did until everyone started to come over and then his other family came over and bring some food and then they started singing some songs then we all sang happy birthday to my grandpa.

Then since we did not know his other side of the family we all introduce ourselves and then after that we ate our food and then me and my mum went to my aunt's house in Mt. Roskill.

 And it was fun because we were playing UFC 2 on the PS4 I kept getting beat up and at least I tried but like about 1 hour later we had to go home and we did and then I went to sleep.
