Tongan Language Week Assembly Reflection
Yesterday we celebrate tongan language week and it was amazing
after morning tea we had a big assembly about tonga we first got up for the national anthem then room 3 got up and said some facts about Tonga then people then room 8 & 2 sang a song like room 6 they were bove great songs and the singed well from my class kiko,metui,toma and akanesi read their poem about their ancestors then room 10 talk about their turtle art foa then lydia and akansi dance it was nice then room 4 did a tongan fashion show with ocean explains then
some of the room 7 girls did a dance that was taught by lydia they did a great job and some of the boys got up and start dancing hard out then they gave out some awards to people for the values and doing the right thing
then teachers and students and another tongan dance and it was crazy because half of the school got up and started dancing a lot then w were done and got ready to eat but one by one as a class to taste tongan but i already have tongan food before so yeah was pretty nice and i can not wait for next year when it happens again so yeah have a great day
