Hey guys so today we did maths we were working on some maths problems the math problem.

 The problem that I am working on was Paul can go to school in 5 different ways he goes a different way each day and comes home the same way he went this is what I done so far and I am done yet.

 So I did 0.6 + 0.9 = 1.5 then I did 1.5 + 1.2 = 2.7 then I did 2.7 + 0.6 = 3.3.

What I found challenging was working out this problem so far because it was hard on how I am going figure it out.

What I enjoyed was working this out with friends and getting half of the problem solved.

What The Heck

WALT:reflect on maths 

Hey guys so we did maths and this term for maths we are learning about decimals and the place value of the decimals.

 We got into buddies and we had to do a task to write the number of whole number and fraction with decimal point I was Kaleb and task was to order each decimal point from the greatest to the least.

I found it hard to do so I went to Mrs Komor for help while Kaleb went to kapa haka and she showed me how to write the number in decimals and where the decimals point goes.

 That really helped and I learnt a lot from this and one of the things that I learnt is that the decimal point is always after the whole number because it is the main number of the number.

I felt good after that because I did not give up so I asked for help and now I know it and also I learnt a lot from and I know that I am starting to improve on my maths.

Maths Games Reflection 2

WALT:Reflect On What We Did For Maths

Hey guys so today we played maths games again but this we all changed groups so today I was with Star, Constance and Amon was still in my group.

 so the first game we played was the same card game that we did yesterday but this time we did times tables and if you did not know how to play check out the reflection from yesterday and it will explain how to play.

After we played that game we played another game with the dice when one person rolls 2 dice and it is a time tables question and we try to solve it and if we say the answer first then he or she gets a point and the person that wins the first round gets to roll the dice in the next round it was fun to play and really funny too.

Then we played our last game with the place value cards when we to add up the numbers to one big number and the we try to figure out which is thousands, tens & ones and that is how the game works.

I felt great after that because it as good playing maths games again and I also learn a lot from the games that we did on maths.

My next step is to the answers more faster because I am saying it so slow and I am also thinking slow no next time I just need to think and say the answer more faster.

I found it hard for the dice game to do because I could not count the little dots in the dice and also the times tables question was really hard but the card game was easy because I knew right away when he said the answer.

I enjoyed playing the maths games because it was fun to play and it was also funny at the same at time and just having a great playing the maths games and learning something from it.

Maths Games Reflection

WALT:Reflect On Maths Games

Hey guys so today we were in groups of 4 to play some maths games to get more good at maths and I was with Toma, Amon & Kensington the first game that we played was with the decimals fraction cards and the first person to go says I have 1/2 who has 2/5 and who ever has the card says the same thing and keep on going until we run out cards.

After we played that game Mrs. Komor told Kensington to switch with Timeus so Kensington can to Timeus's group and Timeus came to our group and then we played a game with the playing cards when 3 of us has a card on our forehead and one of them has to say plus all that numbers that we have and then he says the answer and we are trying to figure out the number and how he plus all of it.

I felt great after that because I really enjoyed playing maths games with my friends and getting more better on my maths.

My next steps is to work out more of the maths problem in my head because I am not a really good thinker when it comes to maths in plus I can solve the fraction and card on my mind (Beside Addition & Time Tables) so that is what I have to do next time I do something like this.

I found it hard and easy because the fraction game was easy to do but some of it was also hard because I could not tell which fraction and also the playing card it was easy and hard to do because I also could not tell what number was on my forehead.

I enjoyed just playing the maths game with my friends because it was really fun and funny to play with them and we also all learn something from the maths games so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep. 

Maths Group Reflection (No KiwiSport Or P.E)

WALT:Reflect on what we did at maths
hey guys so today I had maths because I am in maths group and I missed kiwisport but it was ok first thing we did was sit on a table with our math teacher Kelly while Lydia record us for a teacher that wanted see how our maths go so what we first did was count in 1s which is pretty easy to do but we started from 27 to 50 and it was easy for me and for everyone else in the group after that we use the square boxes that you can squeeze and each of us had to said the numbers down then up. Then Kelly brang the dice and did addititon and who gets it first wins So I won and lost because it was hard and easy but it was good and everyone did good at it after she got out the maths questions card and we all had to verse each other and it was a lot fun later we had to come up with a group name we first choosed dice 7 but then we ended up doing new addition and it is a really good name then we went back to class. I felt great because I learnt a lot and I can not wait to do it tomorrow so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep.

3 Things And What I Can Do Better That I did On My Maths Test Today

WALT:Reflect on our math test

So today we had the pat maths test the first thing we did was get out our netbooks and Mrs Komor gave our password for our maths test then we got started and then we were done with the test then we wait for Mrs Komor to come and check it.

The questions it was easy and hard because some was easy to solve but most of them were hard because there was hard thing and I could not keep up but I got threw and I finished my test.

My Improving In maths I need to improve my fractions because I Have work on my fifths and my 10's I also have to improve my times tables because I don't  get it sometimes but if I practice over and over then I will start to get it and I will be good at it and the last thing that I need to improve is my counting now I know it sound childlike but sometime when I Count sometime I Miss a number and I do not feel great about that but if I count and count then I will get it and I will not miss a number.

What I can do better:I can work on my maths stuff that I do not know like for example my times tables and I can also work on my counting.
