Hey guys so today I am going about my hometown Auckland, New Zealand. 

I think Auckland is the most amazing place on earth because there fun things to do here like going to the Pools or Rainbow's End which is a theme park here in New Zealand.

Also going to sky tower which has a nice view when you go on top of the tower and also you can hungry jump off the tower which is fun and scary.

The second fact about New Zealand is the maori name for New Zealand is Aotearoa and that means the land of the long white cloud.

The last fact about New Zealand is that Auckland is the biggest city even doe Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand.

Last Day Of School Of 2018 Reflection

 Hey guys so today was the last and final day of school of 2018 and it was really sad because it was my last time going to Tamaki Primary so we just cleaned up room 9 & 10 for next year and then we went down to the hall and put our bags on the ground and went outside and played until morning tea.

Then we went back to the hall after morning tea and had our final assembly and it was sad then we said our team chant for the last time for 2018 then people sign our school shirts then we all went home.

I am really going to miss coming to Tamaki Primary it was a really good and fun year and I am really going to miss it so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep.

2018 Reflection Questions

Hey guys so today I wanted to do another reflection on 2018 since I am leaving this school and school will done on Friday so I will answering the questions that Mrs Komor gave me and my class about 2018.

3 word that I would describe 2018 is Funny, Team and Positive because this year was a great year for me I made some new friends even other people that I don't hang out with and also I got to make people laugh and other people got to make me laugh and just working as team by helping someone and just having a great time.

1 achievement that I am proud of is building positive relationship because I made friends everyone  even shy people so they can talk to me and also try to make them to try to be confident and to talk to other people too.

New things that I discovered about myself is I am funny because I make people laugh and also that I am confident so I can say a speech in front of my class and school and just making learning heaps of fun.   

A new skill that I learn was to make my maths more better because I can now work out maths problems and find out answer to any maths not just addition and multiplication.

5 people that I enjoyed hanging out with this year was Demetrius, Tevita, Toma, Aumau and Amon because they are just fun and funny to hang out with they kind to me and they show respect to just like I show kind and respect to them so they were also like brothers that I always wanted positive brothers.

 One person that had the biggest impact on me was Fe'ao because he always support me with my work and made me laugh and I can basically say he is another friend of mine and I also like the handshake that we always do.

5 Things That I Enjoyed About 2018

Hey guys so school is going to finish on Friday so today I wanted to write and reflect on 5 things that I enjoyed about 2018.

The first thing I enjoyed about this year was Camp Raglan because I really bonded with my friends and also made some other friends also just having fun swimming in the pool, doing all the activities, the food and just having the best time of my life.

The second thing I enjoyed about this year was Parakai Springs because I got to listen to music on the bus and also go for a swim with my friends and eating bbq and just having a great time at the pools and with my friends too.

The third thing I enjoyed about this year was Dine and Dance because the food was tasty and nice the drinks taste amazing and the dancing was just funny and enjoyable and just making memories. 

The fourth thing I enjoyed about this year was the Talent Show because we got to show what we are good at and also raise money for our trip to Camp Raglan.

The fifth and final thing that I enjoyed about this year was just being in the Kia Manawanui team I really enjoyed hanging with my friends and teachers and also just being in this class and I am really going to miss being here in Tamaki Primary School.

Tomorrow Starts The Last Week Of School Of 2018

Hey guys so it is came to the time that school will finish for 2018 and my last year at Tamaki Primary School is almost done.

 I am sad because I enjoyed this year and also the other year being in this school I am going to miss all my friends and teachers.

  But hey we don't finish until Friday so I still get bond with my year 7 & 8's friends and also my teacher for 5 days.

Dine & Dance Reflection

Hey guys so yesterday at 6:00 me and the year's 8 had our dine and dance the year 7's came at 7:30 meanwhile when the year 7's were not here we had dinner which tasted so delicious and then we had desert.

 After we ate we went around that table and stood up and told of our most fun time we had at school this year.

Then at 7:30 the year 7's came and we danced and it was a lot of fun even with the year 7's then at 9:00 it was done and we went home.

Hey guys so Today Mrs Komor asked us to write a story about a picture. This is I wrote. Tell me what you think in the comment section below.

MY STORY - The wind rushed through her hair as she descended the mountain at great speed. For most children this would be exhilarating, even terrifying experience, but for Lucy it was just an ordinary journey to school.

She lived on top of the mountain and her house was a small castle Lucy lived with her mum and older brother when she was 5 years old her dad died in a plane crash.

She went to a all girls school called zipline school for girls.

This school is different from mine because we do not have a zipline and we do not get to wear mutfi everyday.

Lucy felt amazing when she went down the zipline at first she was shy but her dad always said before he passed away was to always believe in yourself and you can do anything.

Debating/Writing Reflection

Hey guys so today at school in the middle block we had writing on statement argument basically debating so we had to debate on 3 statements.

the first statement was should it be compulsory to learn Te Reo and my thought was yes because it is the national language in New Zealand.

The next statement was should you be driving by the age of 10 and my thought was no because they are not mature enough  and at age of 10 that is still a child so that child should learn how ride a bike before you learn how to ride to a car. 

The last statement was should there be no school rules and my thought no because of there is no rules then there will be violence and tagging on the wall also there will be no learning.

Dine & Dance On Wednesday

 Hey guys so the year 7 & 8's are having their dine and dance on Wednesday and I can not wait because it was fun last year so I know it will be fun this year because I am a year 8 and I come early with the other year 8's.

 We can dine from 6:00 to 7:30 and dance from 7:30 to 9:00 the year 7's come to the dancing part so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep.

Kiwisport Reflection

IALT:reflect on kiwisport

Hey guys so today and I do mean today we had kiwisport for a make up lesson because we did not have kiwisport last week so we first got spit in 4 groups and I was with Kaleb, Grace, Tevita and Jose.

We had to grab a belt and two red tags and the other teams got blue and red tags and my team and the other team went with Coach Will and the other half went with Coach Karl and played flag football not together but just playing on different sides of the field.

About 15 minutes later we switch to Coach Karl and the other red team came to our side and we played with the blue team on Coach Karl side.

After that we packed our belts and tags and got a drink of water and then we went back to class for lunch.

What I found challenging was trying to catch the ball because I will always miss catching but with practice I know I can do it.

What I enjoyed was playing with friends and getting better on flag football.

Reading Reflection (New Zealand Environment/Native Bush)

Hey guys so today in the middle block we did reading and it was about the environment of New Zealand and native bushes and we had answer question based on the topic.

Question 1 -What sorts of animals do we have in New Zealand? - Animals that we have in New Zealand are Kiwis, Kea, Bat, Hector's Dolphin and many more.

Question 2 - What do we mean by the native bush? - Like bushes from forests and woodland and the bushes that have been here for a long time.

Question 3 - Is it important to look after the bush? If so, whose responsibility is it? - It is important to take care of our bushes because we need to breath air and to see and enjoy nature.

Question 4 - Which animal species were introduced to New Zealand? - They were Possums, Stoats, Deers and Goats.

Question 5 - Why were they brought here? - It was because there were less animals in New Zealand so they bring some other animals but it just made worse.

Question 6 - When did the damage begin? - it began when pests like rats destroyed our native New Zealand bush.

Question 7 -Why are stoats especially dangerous? - Stoats are hard to get because they are very suspicious and fast also they are very careful and clever.

Question 8 - Do we value some animals more than others? If so, why is that? - It is because they are different but some are the same so we can value them the most as the same and also differently.

Rainbow End's Trip On Tuesday

Hey guys so Tuesday the people that do patrol, milk, fruit and p.e are going to Rainbow's End and I am one of them because I do patrols and I can not wait to go on all the rides and have a lot fun like I did last year and all the other times I went to Rainbow's End so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment have a great night sleep.   

My Critical Analysis Of Still Images (Parkour In A War Zone)

Hey guys so Thursday in the middle block we were learning about critical analysis with a still image and we had to write about 1 of the 3 images and the answer the question that my teacher gave us.

Question 1 - Who Took The Photo - The person who took this photo was Mohammed Salem who is a Palestinian Photographer who comes from Gaza City.

Question 2 - How Is The Subject Represented In The Photo -  It was presented by telling that people are having fun at the war zone by doing parkour.

Question 3 - What Kinds Of Messages Are Being Conveyed - I think the message that they are trying to show here is to have fun just because you are in a place were a lot bad things happen and you can fill that place with some love and fun.

Question 4 - How Do Different Parts Of The Image Contribute To These Images -  I think part of this image means to have fun when the bad things are not happening and also to take care of the place that you are at.

Question 5 - What If The Photo Was Taken From A Different Angle Or Cropped Differently - It would look at his backside or frontside and the kid at the background will be on the side of the photo or just not in the photo at all.

Question 6 -  Who Might The Intended Audience Be - I think the people who loves parkour and  shooting game like for example black ops would love to see this photo and probably try to do the same thing.

Question 7 (Last Question) - How Might Different Groups Of People Respond To The Image - I think the people would respond positively and kind of concern because you having fun but it his at a place where bad things can happen anytime.
