Kiwisport Reflection

IALT:reflect on kiwisport

Hey guys so today and I do mean today we had kiwisport for a make up lesson because we did not have kiwisport last week so we first got spit in 4 groups and I was with Kaleb, Grace, Tevita and Jose.

We had to grab a belt and two red tags and the other teams got blue and red tags and my team and the other team went with Coach Will and the other half went with Coach Karl and played flag football not together but just playing on different sides of the field.

About 15 minutes later we switch to Coach Karl and the other red team came to our side and we played with the blue team on Coach Karl side.

After that we packed our belts and tags and got a drink of water and then we went back to class for lunch.

What I found challenging was trying to catch the ball because I will always miss catching but with practice I know I can do it.

What I enjoyed was playing with friends and getting better on flag football.

Reading Reflection (New Zealand Environment/Native Bush)

Hey guys so today in the middle block we did reading and it was about the environment of New Zealand and native bushes and we had answer question based on the topic.

Question 1 -What sorts of animals do we have in New Zealand? - Animals that we have in New Zealand are Kiwis, Kea, Bat, Hector's Dolphin and many more.

Question 2 - What do we mean by the native bush? - Like bushes from forests and woodland and the bushes that have been here for a long time.

Question 3 - Is it important to look after the bush? If so, whose responsibility is it? - It is important to take care of our bushes because we need to breath air and to see and enjoy nature.

Question 4 - Which animal species were introduced to New Zealand? - They were Possums, Stoats, Deers and Goats.

Question 5 - Why were they brought here? - It was because there were less animals in New Zealand so they bring some other animals but it just made worse.

Question 6 - When did the damage begin? - it began when pests like rats destroyed our native New Zealand bush.

Question 7 -Why are stoats especially dangerous? - Stoats are hard to get because they are very suspicious and fast also they are very careful and clever.

Question 8 - Do we value some animals more than others? If so, why is that? - It is because they are different but some are the same so we can value them the most as the same and also differently.

Hey guys so Tuesday the people that do patrol, milk, fruit and p.e are going to Rainbow's End and I am one of them because I do patrols and I can not wait to go on all the rides and have a lot fun like I did last year and all the other times I went to Rainbow's End so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment have a great night sleep.   

My Critical Analysis Of Still Images (Parkour In A War Zone)

Hey guys so Thursday in the middle block we were learning about critical analysis with a still image and we had to write about 1 of the 3 images and the answer the question that my teacher gave us.

Question 1 - Who Took The Photo - The person who took this photo was Mohammed Salem who is a Palestinian Photographer who comes from Gaza City.

Question 2 - How Is The Subject Represented In The Photo -  It was presented by telling that people are having fun at the war zone by doing parkour.

Question 3 - What Kinds Of Messages Are Being Conveyed - I think the message that they are trying to show here is to have fun just because you are in a place were a lot bad things happen and you can fill that place with some love and fun.

Question 4 - How Do Different Parts Of The Image Contribute To These Images -  I think part of this image means to have fun when the bad things are not happening and also to take care of the place that you are at.

Question 5 - What If The Photo Was Taken From A Different Angle Or Cropped Differently - It would look at his backside or frontside and the kid at the background will be on the side of the photo or just not in the photo at all.

Question 6 -  Who Might The Intended Audience Be - I think the people who loves parkour and  shooting game like for example black ops would love to see this photo and probably try to do the same thing.

Question 7 (Last Question) - How Might Different Groups Of People Respond To The Image - I think the people would respond positively and kind of concern because you having fun but it his at a place where bad things can happen anytime.

Technology Reflection

Hey guys so today we had tech and I just finished off using the tools to make my pendant smooth and I have now moved on to sandpapering my pendant.

I think next week and I will still be sandpapering until I get bigger sandpaper and getting to wet sandpapering. 

What I found challenging was sandpapering my pendant at first because I forgot how to do it but I got some help from Fe'ao and I got use to it.

TV’s are nice to see even when you are having a cup of tea

I watch it because it’s free and even in my dreams

No more getting sting from bees because I see them on TV.

North sea I see at the beach but on TV it has everything.

When I watch it I can feel laughter when I see it I really enjoy it.

I'm Back (WOW It Has Been A While)

Hey guys so I you people have probably have been wondering why I have been not blogging and it is kind of sad.

My Grandpa passed away and I was really sad because I was really close with him and I used to live with him when I was little until I was about 11 or 12 the funeral was from last Thursday to Saturday.

Maths Reflection

Hey guys so today we did maths we were working on some maths problems the math problem.

 The problem that I am working on was Paul can go to school in 5 different ways he goes a different way each day and comes home the same way he went this is what I done so far and I am done yet.

 So I did 0.6 + 0.9 = 1.5 then I did 1.5 + 1.2 = 2.7 then I did 2.7 + 0.6 = 3.3.

What I found challenging was working out this problem so far because it was hard on how I am going figure it out.

What I enjoyed was working this out with friends and getting half of the problem solved.

Predator Free Reflection

Hey guys so today we had a lesson on animals predators with Ms. Treena and she talked about how predators which are pests that they are killing our native New Zealand animals and saw a message from the predator free natural watcher and he wrote that we should respect the to pests and we had to reply to the message and I sightly agree and disagree because they our native animals but we should respect to there will be less killing NZ animals.

This is the comment that I wrote to Nature Watcher

I sightly agree and disagree because I think that we should respect the pests but at the same time it does not sound right because they our killing our native New Zealand animals but I think we need to respect them because they just need to be loved so there can be less killing the NZ animals so that is why I sightly agree and disagree.

Technology Reflection

Hey guys so today we had technology and I just started to smooth out my pendant which is a phone with some help and guide from Mr. Grundi and next week and I will still be smoothing it out and then I will start to sandpaper the pendant. 

What I found challenging was smoothing it out because it just felt harder and harder when I kept on doing it but I started to get the hang of it and it started to become real smoother.

What I enjoyed was that I was with my friends to keep me company so I was not alone and also not doing my workbook and up to my pendant.

Manaiakalani Film Festival Reflection

Hey guys so today we went to 11th annual Manaiakalani Film Festival and went had to be in buddies with room 5 and I was with Taynah.

 We went in the bus to the movies then we walked to the cinema and we sat on our seats and enjoy the movies that my school and the other schools made then we walked back to the bus and went back to school.    

What I enjoyed from the film festival is seeing all the movies it was funny to watch and joyful to see and I think all the school presenters did a great job promoting their movie so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep.
