My First Blog Post For Term 2 2018 With Term 2 Goals & My Best Holiday Reflction

WALT:Tell about My Hoilday and Goals For Term 2

Hey guys so I am back at school now and I am so happy that I am because I missed coming to school and I got to see all my friends but before I get into my goals for term let me write a reflection of the interesting thing I did in the holidays.

So last week me and my sister with my cousin went to Newmarket the first thing we did is got change then my brother drop us off and we walked to the train station. 

After we got there my sister went to get the tickets then the train came an we got in it and took a seat it was amazing going on the train because there is alot to see while you are in the train.

It took about 15 minutes to get to Newmarket because there was a lot of people getting in and coming out but it was good for the experience

and then we finally got to Newmarket  and the train station there looked amazing.

When we got there we had to get my sisters makeup and then we went to look sharp to buy some felt pens. 

After we did all of that we had something to eat after that we went to the game arcade but when we got there we could not play because we had to have a card so we just left.     

Then we went to buys some cookies and go for a walk to the waterfront and back to the train station to go back home.

I felt great after that because it was really good experience to go on a train and to go to Newmart and the city. Now that is done I can tell

my goals.

My first goal for this term is wearing correct uniform with pride everyday because last term week 9 & 10 I would sometimes wear different pants because it was dirty all the time inplus I needed some new pants so that it my first goal to wear full uniform with pride everyday.

My second goal is to show the school values everyday because sometime I don't sometimes I do not show them which I am not happy with that but this term I would try my best to show the school values.

My third goal is to be at school everyday because last term I would stay from school like 2 times a day but this term I would just my best to get to school everyday.

My fourth goal is to work on my maths again because that was my goal last term but I did not achieve it so this term 2 my main subject that I am focusing on is my maths.

My fifth and last goal is to have fun this term because we have camp and many more things coming this term so I will make sure that I will have a lot of fun and make a lot of memories.

Camp Coming Up In Term 2 Week 5

Hey guys so next term in week 5 me and the year 7 & 8's are going to camp raglan 3 nights and 4 days I am so exitced because I get to do fun staff with my friends and teachers and to make it the best camp ever also to have some awesome memories to think about when I am mad or sad. Time For The Holidays

Hey guys so school is done for 2 weeks and it is time for the holidays and I am happy that holiday has begun so we can do fun staff go to the Pools, Theme park, Library and many more also to have a break and spend time with our families because when we go back to school it is going to be busy because it is all going to be about camp until we go but until then I am want to just focus on the holidays so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great holiday. 

Preparing for The Ako Afternoon Reflection

WALT:Write a reflection about preparing for the ako evening 

Hey guys so today I am writing about preparing for the ako evening that happen yesterday so the first thing we did was pick a group to be in for the evening and it is all about our community panmure. I chose to the the brochure about panmure so people can take it home and read about it and fun places that they can go to and that is what we did so first all of us came to sit at a table and work on our brochure on paper then we showed Miss Aireen she said that we should just do it on the chromebook then she will print it out and we will be able to fold and it will be a brochure so we did.

We all had to write about the best places you can go and visit in panmure I did it on the Pool, Library & Basin and I had to write about what fun staff you could do at those places after I did that Miss Aireen check it and print it out and I was so proud of myself because I did not could finish that fast so I am really happy that.

  Then we had to prepare our classroom for the ako evening so we got 5 table each on one side of the classroom and put it on each side then we got our work and place on the table that we have after that we to make a sign for to see and come to our table and then we practice on what we were going to say the we got our bag and went home but I did not go because it was raining and there was  no gas in the car so I did not go but at least I helped prepare for last night so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great holiday.

Last Day Of School Tomorrow Of The Term

Tech Tomorrow

Hey guys so tomorrow is our last tech lesson for this term and I am exitced and sad because there will be no tech for 2 weeks and when we go back we only have 3 weeks left with cooking and the other groups but on the positive side we get to cook and write a reflection about which I will do so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep.

Last Tai Chi Lesson For This Term Reflection

WALT:Reflect on Tai Chi

Hey guys, so today was our last lesson for this term of Tai Chi and I was so sad but it is coming back next term which I am exitced about. The first thing we did was line up, then Mrs. Komor took us down to the hall for Tai Chi. We got there, we had to go in our lines then we bowed down and did our breathing techniques.

We did our Tiger form and Crane form. We had a few mistakes but it was ok.  

Mr. Gordon told us to grab a chair and form a circle so we did that but then Mr. Gordon told us that we all had to stand in the middle of the circle and do the moves that we done and to do it with attitude.

I was nervous because it looked like I was teaching but I got up there and I got excellents and good for what I did and I felt good about it.After everyone did their moves in the middle then Mr.Gordon told us about a person named Tua and that he used to work with on him on landscape jobs. He did a great job and I am inspired by that because I knew I could do the same thing.

Mr. Gordon gave me a hat with Tai Chi on it because I used attitude while I was showing the moves in the middle and I was so happy about that because I did not know that I could get a prize. 

We put our chairs away, did breathing techniques again and then we went back to class. I felt great after that because I won a prize for using attitude and I can not wait for next term.

Tech Reflection (No Tech Photos From Last Week)

Hey guys so last week we had tech the first thing we did was get our staff for tech then Mrs. Komor took the roll and then we went to go lined up after that we walked down to the bus and went to tech when we got there we had to line up with the people was in our groups and then we went to our classes.It took long for us to go inside because some students were having a cooking class like and then they were done in like 5 minutes then we got to go inside but when we got inside we had to blog about what we are making which was hotcakes  because none of us blogged about the week before so we had to blog. 

After we blogged we got into cooking we were making hotcakes I made a blog about how to make hotcakes check it out (Link) Me and buddy made 6 hotcakes for each of us then after we made our hotcakes our cooking teacher put the chocolate syrup on top then we ate it after we ate we cleaned up then got our staff then left to the bus to go back to school.

I felt great after that because I learnt how to cook hotcakes and I can not wait for this thursday so yeah you are welcome to leave a comment and have a great night sleep. 

Camp Coming In Term 2 Week 5

Talent Show Reflection

WALT:Write a reflection about the talent show last night

Hey guys so Last Week at 6:00 we had the talent show to fundraise for our camp and it was in the TPS hall

Practicing For The Show

So from week 5 to week 10 we had to practice for our talent show with the group that we made I join a group with my friends Timeus, Fe'ao and Villiami but in week 8 Viliami left the group because he had to go to Australia with his family so it was just the 3 of us then we had to come up to song we first did end of the road by boyz ll men but then we did a medley of old school songs like My Girl, I Want You Back, Mr, Telephone Man and End of the road I mixed all the backing tracks with a website called soundtrap and after I did that we started to practice and practice.

Before The Show

So after school  Miss Aireen told us to be at school by 4:30 and I was like that early but it was a good time so we can have some time to practice and to get change for our performance I got there at 4:45 because I looked at the clock when I got there and then we had to sit on the that we setted up for the people to come to watch after that we started out into song this is me then we got change for our performances and we all had to wait in the music room until the show start I was nervous because I saw a lot people coming in the hall but with members in my group We all knew that we could do it 2 minutes later it was time to shine.

During The Show

All of us got on the stage and the host of our talent introduces us and what we are all doing before we perform in our own groups so we perform this is me from the movie the greatest showman then after we did this is me we went to the music room until we get called to go perform and me and Fe'ao were nervous you are probably wondering about Timeus well he did not show up so Fe'ao had to his past but he was it ok with it. After 4 or 5 performance me and Fe'ao was next and we were so nervous because Timeus was not there and there was a lot of people there but we said a little prayer to help us then we got up stage and perform and it was great a little mistake but we got thru it and I was so happy for myself because I was not shy and I was confidents then we went back to the music and waited until General Fiyah come and perform he was out special guest for the talent show. 15 minutes later we to go sit in the front to see General Fiyah performance and it was amazing he sang his song here to stay & love & affection after he perform we  had to perform this is me again then Mrs. Kelly came to say some words after that the night was done and we packed up. 

After The Show

We packed up the hall then I went outside to talk with my friends and then we took photos with General Fiyah then we all went back home.

VolleyBall Reflection Questions

WALT:Reflect on our game of volleyball

Question 1 - List 4 Rules in volleyball

The first rule of volleyball is there has to be 3 people in the front & back and one behind the lin serving the ball so when serve and the ball goes to you you will be able to hit the ball.

The second rule in volleyball is the person serving the ball to your side is that you have on only 3 hits per side and if you hit it 4 times it is the other team ball so remember 3 hits per side.

The third rule in volleyball it is illegal to throw, catch & hold the ball.

The fourth rule in volleyball is It is also legal to contact the ball with any part of a player’s body.

Question 2 - What I Learnt on playing volleyball

I learnt that there is always a rotation during the game and that the ball is out when it is a bad serve the ball is out and it the other team's ball also being honest is the best thing instead of cheating threw the whole game.

Question 3 - What Can I Do Better (Last Reflection Question)

I can work on my serving and to hit the ball when it comes to me.

1.  1 1/2 c. of S.R.F
2.  1/2 c of sugar
3. 1 c of milk
4. 1 egg
5. Mix all ingredients and fry 2 cakes at the time
